Each year, the IGRA Board of Directors presents five (5) International Awards to active participants of IGRA member organizations who have gone above and beyond their volunteer duties in support of their local gay rodeo association. For 2009, out of all the gay rodeo organizations across the US and Canada, two of the five International Awards were presented to members of MGRA. On December 18, 2009, during a very special evening celebrating Miss Mae's life, Cayree Ragsdale and Ken Hall were introduced and announced as recipients of the 2009 IGRA International Award. Cayree and Ken were honored to be presented with their awards by IGRA Vice President, Andrew Goodman, and IGRA Secretary, Larry Lindstrom. |

The Celebration of Miss Mae's life was held on December 18th at Sidekicks in Kansas City.
With the help of Her Friends, MGRA was able to make a donation in her name to Passages Youth Center, Her Favorite Charity, in the amount of $2555.00, the largest single donation in their History. Miss Mae would be Extremely proud.
